First impressions are everything , aren’t they? A customer’s initial visit to your company can make the difference to you winning new business, or not. How is your waiting area ? You might want to ensure it is welcoming and inviting.
KEEP IT SIMPLE:
You don’t need lots of clutter lying around. Less is more! So just keep a few magazines and brochures that are relevant to your business. Keep them current. Check them regularly. Nobody wants to see a grubby magazine.
Smells can carry so it is always better to have your staff’s eating area away from the Reception. Nobody needs to smell what your staff are having for lunch.
THE GENERAL CLEANLINESS OF YOUR OFFICE RECEPTION ARES:
The general cleanliness and fragrance in your Business premises will be remembered by visitors when they leave. So always ensure bins and recycling bins are emptied regularly, by your cleaner and always left fresh and clean. People waiting in your Reception usually have a good look around so never any cobwebs or dusty skirting boards please!
A Reception shouldn’t be cluttered with furniture and filing cabinets. So keep it simple and create a relaxed open space. There is a home for everything at work but not in the Reception area.

CLEANING SURFACES TO KILL VIRUSES:
When cleaning surfaces use an all purpose cleaner first to clean and remove any residue. Then spray with anti virus solution . Some cleaning solutions require a sitting time so read the instructions and ensure this is an appropriate cleaner to kill viruses and note Sitting time. Sitting time may vary and some cleaning solutions require no sitting time at all so it is important to read manufacturer’s instructions. Use a clean cloth to continue and turn cloth to ensure you are not spreading virus then change to a new clean cloth to complete .
